Hey Hospitality Folks!

At Serving Up Support: Maine, we’re on a mission to create a strong support network for hospitality workers in Maine, New England, and beyond. From providing mental health resources and crisis management to training programs and stigma reduction, we’re here to empower the backbone of our community.

This June, we’re inviting YOU to make a difference by joining our Chili Chowder Cook-Off fundraiser!

Event Details:
 📅 Date: Saturday, June 21st
 ⏰ Time: 1:00 PM
 📍 Location: The Grande, 25 Country Club Rd. South Portland, ME 04106
💰 Grand Prize: $250 cash!

Whether you’re a professional chef or a home cook with a passion for food, this event is for everyone.

Not only will you have a chance to showcase your culinary skills, but you’ll also be directly supporting programs like:

• Crisis management and counseling services in Maine

• Mental health training for hospitality workers and industry leaders.

• Accessing LGBTQ+ resources for hospitality workers in Maine.

• Resources for seasonal and rural workers.

• The creation of a hospitality-specific mental health support group in Maine.

• The creation of a hospitality-specific sobriety group in Maine.

• The creation of a relief fund to assist hospitality workers going through a crisis to access support.

How to Participate:
1️⃣ RSVP by June 6th by emailing Angela Fall at [email protected].
2️⃣ The Grande will provide supplies and ingredients—just let Angela know what you’ll need.
3️⃣ Food must be prepared in The Grande’s kitchen (for food safety reasons) within five days before the event. Let Angela know what day works best for you!

Not a cook? No problem! Come join us as a guest, enjoy delicious food, and cheer on the contestants.
